The Clean Energy Regulator publishes details of each exemption certificate issued, including any exemption certificates that are issued after an amendment to an original exemption certificate. This includes amendments to the prescribed person and the emissions-intensive trade-exposed activity. An amendment may occur for any reason, but primarily it is because of a change of liable entity or a change of multiple liable entities resulting in more than one exemption certificate being issued for the site.

Before the Renewable Energy (Electricity) Amendment Bill 2015 was passed partial exemption certificates were issued for the years from 2010 to 2014.

The table below provides all exemption certificates that have been issued whether the exemption certificate has been amended or not.
