The Clean Energy Regulator publishes a range of data on emissions-intensive trade-exposed (EITE) activities under the Renewable Energy Target (RET). This includes data on EITE companies that have been issued exemption certificates, exemption total by activity and liable entities that have used exemption certificates for their RET annual reporting.

Full exemption certificates have been issued from 2015 onwards. Partial exemption certificates were issued for the 2010–14 application years and are identified in the data where applicable.
