The Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources (DISER) is consulting on proposed amendments to the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting Regulations 2008 (NGER Regulations) and National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting (Measurement) Determination 2008 (the Measurement Determination) that will apply from the 2022-23 reporting year.
The proposed amendments:
The amendments are proposed to commence on 1 July 2022. These amendments do not affect 2021-22 NGER reports that are required to be submitted by 31 October 2022.
DISER are inviting stakeholder submissions on the draft amendments. The consultation period is open now and will close at 5 pm AEST Friday 29 April 2022. Visit DISER’s consultation page for more information about the consultation, including how to make a submission.
