In August and September 2019, the Clean Energy Regulator held training workshops to assist reporters to submit their emissions and energy reports under section 19, 22G and 22X of the
National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting Act 2007 (NGER Act). The EERS training workshops were held in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.
The workshops covered a range of topics, including the reporting requirements for 2018–19, and how to report through EERS.
Who attended?
The training workshops were open to anyone who has a responsibility to enter data into EERS on behalf of an organisation, and submit a report under the NGER Act. The workshops covered the process of preparing your NGER reports, from logging in and navigating your EERS workspace, to entering data, generating and submitting reports and managing users for your organisation's EERS workspace. The workshops also provided information on the legislative requirements and context for each of the steps of preparing reports.
