The Clean Energy Regulator outlines its strategic direction in the
Corporate Plan
The agency has identified five strategic priorities across the next four years which are to
- Build our data quality, sharing and accessibility
- Actively adapt to changing policy, technologies, business models and market behaviours
- Ensure that our business processes and systems are reducing participants burden and delivering operational efficiencies
- Drive innovation and agility in our people and processes
- Strengthen our detection and response capability to non-compliance.
This strategic direction supports the Clean Energy Regulator’s four objectives of:
- A trusted, relevant and expert institution
- Efficient and effective administration
- Engaged, active and compliant participants
- Secure and enduring infrastructure
That contribute to the agency achieving its purpose of:
- Accelerating Carbon Abatement for Australia.
As well as assisting us to collectively achieve our purpose, the strategic priorities assist staff to appreciate how they individually and collectively contribute to achieving our purpose.
We review our strategic direction annually as part of the agency’s planning process.
