Have your say: Increasing participation in the Emissions Reduction Fund

02 August 2022

The Clean Energy Regulator is interested in understanding how to make it easier for landholders and land managers, including farmers and traditional owners, to participate in the Emissions Reduction Fund (ERF).

The ERF is a voluntary scheme that provides incentives for a range of organisations and individuals to adopt new practices and technologies to reduce their emissions or store carbon.

We are looking at different ways to increase participation in the ERF for landholders and land managers. This may involve providing online education and support tools to make it easier to participate in the scheme.

If you work in the carbon or agriculture industry, are a landholder or land manager (including farmers and traditional owners), or are currently participating in the ERF, we would like to hear from you about:

  • your knowledge and experience with carbon farming and the ERF (if any)
  • problems with registering and participating
  • ways to make it easier to manage an ERF project and gain the benefits of the scheme.

Complete the 5-minute survey.
