For 2016–17 we continued to accelerate carbon abatement in Australia though the administration of our schemes. During the year more than 45.6 million tonnes of carbon abatement were contracted. In addition, 19.4 million megawatt hours of electricity was generated by large-scale renewable power stations.
The performance of our individual schemes as outlined in the following sections, demonstrates their contribution to our purpose of accelerating carbon abatement for Australia.
