I am pleased to submit the Clean Energy Regulator 2015–16 Annual Report in accordance with subsection 40(1) of the Clean Energy Regulator Act 2011 for presentation to the Parliament.
The report covers the operations of the Clean Energy Regulator for the financial year ended 30 June 2016. It was prepared for the purposes of section 46 of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 in accordance with the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Rule 2014.
The report includes the Clean Energy Regulator's audited financial statements as required by section 43 of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013.
As the accountable authority of the Clean Energy Regulator, I can also advise that no significant issues have been identified or reported to the Minister under paragraph 19(1)(e) of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 in relation to non-compliance with the finance law in relation to the entity.
In addition, I certify that the Clean Energy Regulator has prepared fraud risk assessments and fraud control plans, has in place appropriate fraud prevention, detection, investigation and reporting mechanisms that meet the agency's specific needs, and has taken all reasonable measures to appropriately deal with fraud.
