Corporate plan 2012-15

The 2012-15 Corporate Plan is the first to be produced by the Clean Energy Regulator.

It gives voice to the Clean Energy Regulator's strategic approach to achieving its objectives within its operating environment.

Under subsection 39(3) of the Clean Energy Regulator Act, the Corporate Plan must cover a three year period and include details of:

  1. the objectives of the Regulator
  2. the strategies and policies that are to be followed in order to achieve these objectives, and
  3. such other matters (if any) as the Minister requires.

The Corporate Plan outlines how our work contributes to achieving the objectives of the Regulator and how the Agency will position itself to effectively manage future challenges.

The Regulator's objectives are:

  1. ensure regulated entities are meeting their obligations, reporting correct information and receiving entitlements
  2. protect the integrity of the instruments (units)
  3. administer the schemes effectively
  4. build confidence in the market and the Clean Energy Regulator, and
  5. provide data and information to assist decision makers.

The corporate plan is integrated with the Clean Energy Regulator's business planning framework and provides context and guidance to the Agency by reference to the major legislative milestones and deliverables that shape its priorities.

The corporate plan can be downloaded as a PDF documentasset:2012-15 corporate plan or viewed using the table of contents below.
