The animal effluent management method came into effect on 6 January 2020, providing new opportunities for participating in the Emissions Reduction Fund and the Climate Solutions Fund.
The method provides opportunities to earn Australian Carbon Credit Units by reducing or destroying greenhouse gas emissions from the management of organic effluent at piggery or dairy facilities.
