The Clean Energy Regulator (CER) has partnered with GHD to create a calculator that will estimate greenhouse gas emissions generated by the production of hydrogen.
The calculator is helping participants in the Guarantee of Origin (GO) hydrogen trials to better understand data inputs and emissions profiles for different scenarios. The calculator will assist hydrogen projects in understanding how to report under a future GO scheme as well as informing project development design and decisions around emissions.
The CER will continue to work with GHD to refine and improve the Calculator design as the GO trials progress.
