The agency is developing a new serial number ledger (the ledger) capability, to strengthen the integrity of the
Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme (SRES) and the solar industry. The ledger is scheduled for implementation in early 2021.
The agency is
conducting a consultation with stakeholders and seeking your feedback on the proposed upload mechanism and solar panel serial number data format for the ledger.
Further information regarding the agency’s ledger may be found on our website.
The agency hosted a series of webinars in December 2020-January 2021 to provide information about the ledger and consultation.
