The Clean Energy Council (CEC) have advised that from 1 December 2018, all PV modules that do not comply with IEC 61215:2016 and IEC 61730:2016 will be de-listed.
As a result, more than half the currently listed modules are scheduled to expire on 1 December 2018.
Registered agents must be aware that for a solar PV installation to be eligible for small-scale technology certificates (STCs), the PV modules must be on the list of
CEC approved modules at the date of installation. If expired PV modules are installed, the system will not be eligible for STCs.
