There are a number of different emissions units that can be held and traded through the Australian national registry of emissions units (ANREU). Each unit has unique characteristics, with varied issuing and property rights.

Information about each emissions unit above are published, and will be kept up to date, under section 61 of the Australian National Registry of Emissions Units Act 2011, and section 162 of the Carbon Credits (Carbon Farming Initiative) Act 2011. They are not a product disclosure statement within the meaning of part 7.9 of the Corporations Act 2001.
