The National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting Act 2007 (NGER Act) introduced a single national framework for reporting and disseminating company information about greenhouse gas emissions, energy production and energy consumption.
The register is available to corporations who want to self-audit using registered greenhouse and energy auditors. We also use the services of registered auditors.
In the lead up to the introduction of the safeguard mechanism on 1 July 2016, the Clean Energy Regulator will be releasing additional information, guidance and forms to better assist clients understand the safeguard mechanism and meet their safeguard obligations.
