This is to advice you of the Clean Energy Regulator’s plans for continued operation over the coming weeks in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
At present, our building is open and business is continuing as usual.
The agency is implementing distributed work/working from home arrangements for staff to ensure our business functions can continue in as seamless a way as possible, even in the event that the building is closed or there are broader quarantine shutdowns for an extended period.
It is certainly our intention to keep the processes running that you need to do your business – like project registrations, ACCU crediting and purchasing under the ERF and registration, issuing certificates and surrender under the RET and the ANREU and REC registries.
Our IT systems are now Cloud based, having accelerated a planned transition in recent weeks, and we have acquired IT materials to equip our staff for this transition so our IT functionality has actually significantly increased.
As with any transition of this kind, there may be some technical challenges from the distributed model that we will need to resolve along the way, so please let us know if you are having difficulties using our systems, submitting a request or getting in contact with us.
We will be using tele or video conferencing in preference to face to face meetings, where feasible, to help keep our staff and stakeholders as safe as possible. We ask if you do need to visit our building, you use the hand sanitisers near the lifts and practice social distancing.
If you need to get in contact with us, please email
email@example.com or call 1300 553 542. Our contact centre remains open and one of our staff members will get back to you as quickly as possible.
We hope that all of our scheme participants and other stakeholders can stay well over the coming weeks and we look forward to continue working with you.
