Emissions and Energy Reporting System training workshops 2018–19

The Clean Energy Regulator will hold training workshops, in August and September 2019, to assist reporters in submitting their emissions and energy reports under the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting (NGER) Scheme using the Emissions and Energy Reporting System (EERS). EERS training workshops will be held in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.

The workshops will cover reporting requirements for 2018–19 and how to report through EERS.

Who should attend?

The training workshops are open to anyone who has a responsibility to enter data into EERS on behalf of an organisation, and submit a report under the NGER Act. The workshops will cover the process of preparing your NGER reports; from logging in and navigating your EERS workspace, to entering data, generating and submitting reports and managing users for your organisation’s EERS workspace. The workshops will also provide information on the legislative requirements and context for each of the steps of preparing reports.

This year, training sessions will not be held in computer labs. However, access to the EERS training site will be available to allow participants to follow step-by-step the demonstration of the reporting process in EERS. Participants will need to bring their own laptop if they wish to follow along using the EERS training site.

Each workshop is limited to 40 participants. Morning tea will be provided.
