Carbon Farming Initiative closed methods

On 1 July 2015, 16 methods developed under the Carbon Farming Initiative were revoked in line with the legislation, regulations and rules of the Emissions Reduction Fund. All project applications received after this date will be assessed under the Emissions Reduction Fund eligibility rules.

The revoked Carbon Farming Initiative methods closed for new entry are:

Destruction of methane generated from manure in piggeries (2012)

Avoided emissions from diverting legacy waste from landfill for process engineered fuel manufacture (2012)
