About the Corporate Plan

This Corporate Plan articulates the agency’s direction over four financial years. During this period the agency will continue to administer climate change law with the purpose of accelerating carbon abatement for Australia. The agency will review the plan annually to ensure that it remains current and reflects any changes in government policy or strategic priorities of the agency.

This is the second Corporate Plan produced by the Clean Energy Regulator since the agency's establishment on 2 April 2012. It has been approved by the Chair and accountable authority of the Clean Energy Regulator, Ms Chloe Munro, for presentation to the Minister for the Environment, the Hon Greg Hunt MP, and the Minister for Finance, Senator the Hon Mathias Cormann, in accordance with the requirements of paragraph 35(1)(b) of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 and the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Rule 2014.

The Corporate Plan is the central document that guides, informs and directs the agency's planning, performance, and reporting frameworks.
