Deliverable: Publication of the National Greenhouse Gas Inventory for 2011.
The Australian Government prepares regular reports on Australia’s National Greenhouse Gas Inventory in accordance with the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. The Clean Energy Regulator administers the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting Scheme, which collects data used in updating the inventory.
During 2012–13, the Clean Energy Regulator provided relevant data to the Department for use in preparing the inventory.
The Department publishes Australia’s National Inventory Report, which is the Australian Government’s submission to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. It also publishes quarterly updates of Australia’s National Greenhouse Gas Inventory. Reports are available on the Department’s website.
